Comission Terms

When should I submit a commission request?
Only after the client has completed travel. Commission submissions must be made within 60 days of the return date.

What information do I need to submit a commission?
You’ll need:

  • Client reservation number
  • Travel completion date
  • Gross commission amount
  • Supplier name
  • Each reservation must be submitted separately
  • Be sure to upload a W-9 (or the equivalent form in your country) before or alongside your first commission request. We cannot issue payments until this is provided.

Where do I submit my commission requests?
Submit your commissions using the Submit Commissions Request form on the Agent Portal. If you need help, contact [email protected].

How do I know how much commission was earned?
Most suppliers will show the commission amount during booking or in the confirmation email. Always check the supplier portal for verification before submitting.

When will I get paid?
We process commissions after we receive them from the supplier. Most payments are issued within 1–3 weeks of approval. First-time payments may take longer due to system setup.

How are commissions paid out?
We use Veem, a third-party payment platform. You’ll get an email from Veem after your first commission submission prompting you to create an account.

What if my commission is under $10?
Veem requires a $10 minimum to process payments. If your commission is under $10, it will be held until it can be combined with another payment.

Can I receive payment by check?
No. Veem is our only payment method. Check payments are not supported.

Welcome to Veem

Darino Travel uses Veem to process commission payments for Independent Contractors. Veem is a secure, user-friendly platform that allows you to receive your funds via standard ACH (free, typically 3–5 business days) or choose instant deposit options for a small fee.

How to Get Started

  1. Create a Free Veem Account
Sign up for a Basic Veem account—there’s no need to purchase or upgrade to Premium. During the signup process, skip or dismiss any offers for paid features or upgrades.
  2. Set Your Bank Account as the Default Payment Method
    • In your settings, turn off the “Veem Wallet” as the default.
    • Choose your bank account to avoid the $1.00 fee for wallet-to-bank transfers.
    • Standard bank deposits are free. Instant deposits (which send funds to your debit card) come with a small fee.
  3. Avoid the Debit Card Option
Skip signing up for a Veem debit card unless you specifically want instant transfers and are comfortable with the associated fees.
  4. Revert to the Basic Plan: Veem may enroll you in a free one-month Premium trial. Make sure to switch back by navigating to Settings > Account Plan > Basic Plan to avoid future charges.
  5. Use Your Personal Information Only
Set up the account using your own name and contact details. Do not use Darino Travel’s name or business information.
  6. Payment Notification Emails: You’ll receive a confirmation email from Veem each time a payment is sent. Reservation number(s) related to the payment will appear in the memo or notes section.

Important Reminders

  • Accept Your Payment Promptly: Veem automatically cancels payments not accepted within 10 days. If this occurs, contact [email protected] to resolve the issue.

  • Initial Verification Process: Your first payment may take 5–7 business days as Veem verifies your information. This is a one-time process. No action is required unless Veem contacts you directly.

  • Minimum Payment Requirement: Veem requires a minimum of $10 to process a payment. Smaller commissions will be held and combined with future payments until they meet the minimum. The 60-day submission window for commissions still applies.

  • Consistent Email Usage: Your Veem account must use the same email address you have on file with Darino Travel. Payments are tied to your email, so using a different one can delay processing.
  • International Payments: Veem allows international transfers with no additional fees and a 3–5 business day delivery time. There is a $50 minimum for international commissions. To avoid a $29 currency handling fee, always choose to receive payments in your local currency. Domestic U.S. users should not encounter this fee.

Using the Veem Wallet

The Veem Wallet is optional. It allows you to instantly access your commission funds with no transfer fees. During setup, Veem may ask for your Social Security Number for verification. If preferred, you can use placeholder zeros (e.g., 000-00-0000) if you only plan to receive payments and not send them through Veem.
